Here is an idea for from Travelperu a holiday in Peru for those of you who enjoy bowling, which is very popular in the UK and also in Peru, especially in Lima, the capital.

If you read this blog, then probably its is something that tickles your fancy ( Peru guided tours ).

What I would like to propose is why not form a group, could be through your local club or friends and to play a series of games competing against local clubs in the exotic capital of Lima, Peru.

 There is an active bowling culture there and you can combine your sporting interest, experience the local people first hand, the environment and there wonderful cuisine, which enjoys international acclaim.

We can designate up to a week or less bowling and then organise the following week in Cusco and Machu Picchu, the capital of the Inca Empire and one of the seven wonders of the world. 

There are many other places you can visit if we have more time, such as Puno, which has the highest navigable lake in the world, Lake Titicaca, the Colca Canyon which is the deepest in the world and the beautiful City of Arequipa, nestled below the majestic Volcano called Misti.

We can even relax at the end of our stay on a beautiful beach in Mancora right up on the Ecuadorian border or by the Paracas Wild Life National Reserve, where the desert meets the ocean and take a short flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines.

These are just ideas my experience lies in makings this all possible, the design and the organisation,  a skill which comes with more than twenty five years living in Peru and working in the Travel Industry.
